The Financial Services Fund

In order to deliver effectively on the Financial Literacy mandate, the Financial Services Act (FSA) 2007 provides for the creation of the Financial Services Fund (FSF).

The Financial Services Fund is established under Section 68 of the FSA 2007. According to these provisions, the funds of the Fund shall be used –

(a) to promote the education of consumer of financial services; and

(b) to meet the expenses of the Review Panel.

As per Section 69 of the FSA 2007, the Fund is administered by a Managing Committee.

Composition of the Managing Committee of the FSF is as follows
